KRASH: Where did you grow up?
Grayson: I grew up in Sydney – it was just me and my mum. She used to always take me to the wrestling shows and eventually I decided to start training.
KRASH: How did you get into WWE?
Grayson: Luckily I didn’t have to have a try-out, which is rare. The WWE scouts saw me wrestling in Australia and decided I was someone they wanted to use. It wasn’t something I shared with anyone else. It was a personal moment where I just sat back and felt really proud of myself and enjoyed the moment.
KRASH: Did you know any of the Aussie WWE Superstars before joining the line-up?
Grayson: I knew Persia Pirotta and Indi Hartwell pretty well before I came over. It was really cool to have some close friends here already.
KRASH: What’s been your favourite WWE moment so far?
Grayson: Wrestling against Roderick Strong for the Cruiserweight Championship. That’s a belt that I’ve always wanted to wrestle for, so getting the chance to do it was a dream come true.
KRASH: Which WWE Superstar, who you looked up to, have you now met?
Grayson: I got to meet Shawn Michaels and he’s everything you think he is and more. It’s very cool to see how much he just wants everyone to be the best they can be.
KRASH: Who do you like to watch wrestle?
Grayson: Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero. I love that Eddie just cheats all the time. It makes me laugh.
KRASH: What’s your wrestling style like?
Grayson: I think my in-ring style is high-risk – I’m a bit of a thrill-seeker, so you never know what you’re going to get. I like to change it up. You can’t have a game plan for me because I’m always going to bring something different.
KRASH: Which NXT Superstar is your toughest competition?
Grayson: Bron Breakker because he is an absolute machine of a human being. I’ve never seen someone so strong in my life.
KRASH: How do you want the WWE Universe to react to you?
Grayson: I want them to react however they want. I don’t mind if they don’t like me. I’m okay with being the bad guy.
