The brand new Jurassic World Dominion is finally hitting cinemas. Are you ready to hear them roar?
What’s the story?
It’s been four years since the last Jurassic World movie, and since the Isla Nubula – a remote island home to the original Jurassic Park – has been destroyed. Now, life is different and so is the world. Dinosaur behaviour expert Owen lives a very low-key life with his wife, Claire and their 14-year-old, “unofficially adopted” daughter, Maisie off the grid in the middle of nowhere. They’re hiding from evil kidnappers desperate to find Maisie and take her away. But can the family stay hidden forever?

Get to know the main characters in Jurassic World Dominion.
Owen Grady
Owen has been studying dinosaurs for many years. He used to work for InGen,studying dinosaur intelligence, specifically Velociraptors. Now, he’s a protective dad to Maisie, going to great lengths to keep her safe. Chris Pratt, who plays Owen says, “Owen and Claire know that because of who she is and the unique nature of her existence, she’s a target who is valuable to science and to these giant companies who may be able to profit off of her. So, their main goal is to keep her sheltered and protected.”
Claire Dearing
Claire’s been on a long journey of self-discovery through the Jurassic Park movies, and in this film, we see yet another side to her. “She has a specific journey that she goes through in each film,” explains actress Bryce Dallas Howard. “When we first meet her in Jurassic World, she has all the makings of a villain. She’s an executive who plainly values money over life…. Now she knows what’s important for her life. She knows how to make a difference. But she’s dealing with the guilt for the trauma that’s been inflicted upon others and has a sense of responsibility to fix it.”
Maisie Lockwood
Maisie loves living with Owen and Claire, but she’s not really allowed to live a normal tween girl’s life. “She’s not allowed to have a lot of contact with the outside world because Owen and Claire are afraid someone will take her away to use her for scientific experiments,” says Isabella Sermon, the actress who plays Maisie. “She can go outside, but the rule is that she can’t go beyond the house bridge. And like a lot of teenagers, she’s at an age that if she’s specifically told not to do something, she decides to do it anyways.” What could possibly go wrong?
