Story: This is the upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics character, The Flash, within the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The central character, Barry Allen, is a police forensic investigator from Central City and a dedicated member of the Justice League. Otherwise known as the superhero, The Flash, he can move at superhuman speeds using the Speed Force. In this movie release, the multi-dimensional character, Barry Allen travels back in time determined to prevent an unthinkable crime which results in unintended consequences to his own life timeline.

The Flash is influenced by the comic book storyline ‘Flashpoint’ and features different DC Comics characters, such as, Batman.
Over the years, various directors were involved in The Flash, including the duo of Josh Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Both departed the project due to creative differences.
Filming of The Flash was put on hold when a camera operator on a motorbike travelling behind the Batcycle was involved in a collision. The worker was not “seriously hurt”.
Other actors reportedly considered for the role of Barry Allen/The Flash included, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pine, Ryan Kwantan and Daniel Radcliffe.
