One of gaming’s longest serving heroes is finally back in a brand-new adventure. The Lost Crown returns to the series’ side-scrolling platformer roots, but with all the modern-day trimmings. You play an orphan called Sargon, who has been trained up by the Persian King’s bodyguards, the Immortals, to be a supreme warrior. When the Prince is kidnapped, your task is to get him back, but not is all that it seems.

Our hero has plenty of moves to help in both navigation and combat. This includes an air-dash, slide, wall-jump, bow and arrows, block and parry, as well as dual-sword wielding and an epic ultimate move you can charge up.
The series is famous for its time-altering powers, and here Sargon can leap a small distance in time to get past enemies untouched, or zip back to checkpoints you’ve set up. This brings a unique feel and strategy to the action. Developer Ubisoft has done a great job making the controls and physics feel smooth and fun, and it looks spectacular. Definitely worth playing.
