Polestar Synergy

A Real Life Hot Wheels Car!

The Polestar Synergy concept is a full scale vehicle that takes the best elements of three winning designs from Polestar’s latest design contest. All entries were asked to create futuristic models that brought the best performance, renewable ideas, and forward thinking designs.

The Mattel-owned Hot Wheels brand actually partnered with Polestar on this – which isn’t surprising since it is basically a Hot Wheels car come to life!

After examining 100’s of entries, the result became the Synergy you see today, looking like a Le Mans racer without all the sponsors’ stickers everywhere! The plans are to make it into a miniature model car first, then a real drivable prototype!

The single-seater stands over 1 metre tall, and measures 4.5 metres long, sharing the same white paint as other Polestar concepts. With dual electric motors from the Polestar 6’s power train, expect the Synergy to exceed 884 horsepower of go!

Like other Polestars, the Synergy’s name is stamped on the front fenders, which break away from the body. Behind them are large aero vents that channel air through the body and out the back as smooth as it gets!

Along with massive wheels, the brake lights are featured on a massive light bar, while the black panel on the back features a third brake light along with rear-facing cameras with ‘360 Vision’!

To enter the vehicle, you need to enter its cockpit, done so through a glass canopy that flips open like a fighter jet! Of course, the single seat inside features Polestar’s signature gold seatbelts!

Along with the info on the gauges inside, drivers can monitor the battery’s temperature as well as its state of charge through virtual reality displays. The yoke steering wheel displays the speedometer, G-force, and tyre pressure – but also has a heartbeat monitor to measure your excitement onboard!

First shown off at the Munich auto show, it’ll also be displayed at the Hot Wheels Legends Tour in El Segundo, California. Finally, a model toy car to come to life!
