Sony Bravia 9 TV
Sony’s 2024 range of TVs is led by the Bravia 9, the brightest 4K TV you’re likely to find. Using a Mini-LED QLED panel, it delivers a brightness and a colour range that’s the same as what you find in cinemas. It also has great audio, with a Dolby Atmos 2.2.2 speaker system built into the frame itself. Auto-calibration is also another highlight with the TV adjusting to services like Netflix and Amazon Prime, as well as PS5 consoles, perfectly. We just wish it had more than two next-gen HDMI 2.1 ports.
Amazon Echo Show 8
The new Amazon Show 8 is out and it’s the perfect accessory for any bedroom. It’s so much more than an alarm clock, thanks to its stereo speakers (with spatial sound), 8” HD touchscreen, Alexa voice control and 13MP camera. From listening to music, watching TV, talking to your friends or just making sure you wake up in time for school, it’s pretty awesome. We only wish they’d improve the design a bit so the frame around the screen isn’t so thick.

If you want to level-up your Xbox (or PC) gaming, then this pro controller not only looks amazing, but is packed with features. Firstly, it has a customisable RGB light system built into the faceplate, which makes the controller look like a festival when you’re playing. It also comes with four mappable paddles, analogue sticks that can be locked into three different heights, triggers that have three lock distances, low latency wireless connectivity and an excellent d-pad. It comes with a charging stand and case, too. Very impressive.
