One of the easiest ways to make an old TV feel modern is to get a streaming box. Th cute little Google TV Streamer box plugs directly into your TV, giving it all the latest apps. It opens and operates much faster than the old Chromecast devices while providing the latest Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and HDR10+ support. A nice simple remote makes it easy to control, too, however, we’re a bit disappointed it only uses Wi-Fi 5. As such, best to plug in the internet via Ethernet.

Here’s a fun piece of kit to add to your Christmas wish list; an e-scooter made specifically for kids up to 145cm tall. Smaller and lighter than an adult scooter, it’s much easier to ride and move around. There are lights (250 colours!) that shine under the deck, making it look cool as you whiz on by. It has a top speed of 16km/h and can go up to 9km (or for 70-minutes) on a single charge, plus it’s waterproof. It uses the new trigger acceleration system as well, which is much easier than the older handle acceleration system.
