It’s not cheap, but it is spectacular.
Kindle Paperwhite
The 12th generation of the Kindle Paperwhite has landed, with a host of minor improvements that add together to create a great e-reader experience. It’s faster, with pages turning noticeable quicker. The battery life is longer, lasting up to three months. The screen size is up slightly to 7-inches, as well as having improved backlight brightness and contrast for an easier reading experience. If you haven’t got a Kindle already, this is a great place to start, especially given the huge Kindle Unlimited library.

The screen rotates right around to behave as a tablet, looking fantastic with its OLED touchscreen. Or it can sit as a laptop, in beast mode. The latest Lunar Lake Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, supported by 32GB of RAM, runs everything at a fast pace. It’s super-efficient, too, and the 64wh battery can last for days. It can play games, but that’s not so much the focus: it’s more of an all-rounder, great for school, entertainment and light gaming.

The latest earbuds from LG are a great option for anyone who listens to high-resolution audio, as well as Dolby Atmos movies and games. Especially given its head tracking support, so the audio shifts depending on how you move. They are fully wireless, and comes with a carry case that together can get you around 20-hours of listening time with active notice cancellation turned on. The case also self-cleans the buds and can double as a wireless broadcaster of audio from a device like an airplane TV. Most importantly, that sound is fantastic!
Espresso Display 15
Here’s a handy little piece of kit for people who are always on the move and need a better screen experience. It’s super thin (just half a centimetre) and light (865g), but provides a portable 15.6” HD LCD screen with 300nits of brightness. Sure, it doesn’t offer the greatest contrast and vibrancy, but it can be easily put in a backpack to provide a second screen, a movie screen, a gaming screen… whatever… while you’re out and about. You can get it bundled with a magnetic Stand, as well.
